Vinayaka (Ganesh)

 Ganesha or Vinayka is a hindu god, he is considered as the son of God Shiva (Destroyer) and God Parvathi ( Kali matha or Lalithambika).🙏


Although Ganesha has many attributes, he is readily identified by his elephant head. He is widely revered, more specifically, as the remover of obstacles and thought to bring good luck.

He is worshiped in first of any pooja, vratha, yagas.

Vinayaka(Vigneshwara) means as the remover of interruptions in any type of work

meaning

“O Lord Ganesha, one with a huge body, a curved elephant trunk and whose brilliance is equal to billions of Suns,
May you always remove all obstacles from my endeavors.”

OR

“We salute our Supreme Lord, Ganesha, who has a curved trunk and whose radiance is equal to a million suns. May you bless all our endeavors and remove all obstacles from our path.”

ॐ एकदन्ताय विद्धमहे, वक्रतुण्डाय धीमहि,
तन्नो दन्ति प्रचोदयात्॥

Om Ekadantaya Viddhamahe, Vakratundaya Dhimahi,
Tanno Danti Prachodayat॥

Translation of the Mantra

We pray to the one with the single-tusked elephant tooth who is omnipresent. We meditate upon and pray for greater intellect to the Lord with the curved, elephant-shaped trunk. We bow before the one with the single-tusked elephant tooth to illuminate our minds with wisdom.
